Este despre ultimul conflict Israel-Hezbollah in Liban

Destul sarcasm. Daţi drumul la film, maestre.

Lebanon Israel Facts the Media Isn’t Telling You

What’s happening in Gaza, to start with that – well, basically the current stage of what’s going on (there’s a lot more) begins with the Hamas election, back [at] the end of January. Israel and the United States at once announced that they were going to punish the people of Palestine for voting the wrong way in a free election. And the punishment has been severe.

Israel and the United States

Minciună prin omisie. Acestora li s-au alăturat Canada, Uniunea Europeană, Rusia, Japonia şi ONU.

punish the people of Palestine for voting the wrong way in a free election

… Gallup finds continued Palestinian support for the peace process with Israel and a preference for negotiation rather than terrorism, raising questions about just what kind of mandate Hamas will have for its more militant approach.

The election of Hamas does not appear to be linked to a rejection of the peace process by the Palestinians, or to be a mandate for attacks against Israel.

The majority of Palestinians think the cease-fire with Israel should be extended in 2006 if both sides agree to it (51%). Only 34% would not extend it.

Nearly two-thirds of Palestinians say they support the peace process with the Israelis: 26% strongly support it and 39% moderately support it; only 30% oppose it. Current views on this are similar to where they stood six years ago.

When asked which approach to achieving self-determination for their people they prefer, the majority (54%) favors „mostly nonviolent forms of resistance and negotiation”; only half as many (28%) favor „mostly armed struggle and military solutions.”

at once announced

Minciună colaterală. At once inseamnă imediat, instantaneu.

Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.

The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up.

There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.

… she bade one son goodbye in a homemade videotape before he stormed an Israeli settlement, killing five people, then being shot dead. She said later, in a much-publicized quotation, that she wished she had 100 sons to sacrifice that way. Known as the ‘mother of martyrs,’ she was seen in a campaign video toting a gun.

citat din New York Times

The latest phase began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don’t know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate.

You don’t know the names of victims.

Israeli soldiers have seized two Palestinian men in an overnight raid into the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli military said the two brothers were members of the militant group Hamas and were planning attacks on Israel.

Hamas said they were sons of a member but were not involved in Hamas. It called the abduction a crime.

Israel pulled out of Gaza last summer but there remains a regular exchange of missile fire.

However, such incursions by Israel are rare.

The raid started at 0330 (0030 GMT) in the village of Umm al-Nasser, near the Rafah refugee camp and only one kilometre from the Israeli border, Palestinian sources say.

The two captured men were brothers Osama and Mustafa Abu Muamar, sons of Hamas activist Ali Muamar.

An Israeli army spokesman said the two men taken were Hamas militants intending to carry out imminent attacks on Israel.

„These Palestinians were transferred to Israel where they will be questioned,” the spokesman said.

Hamas denied the men were its members.

Ali Muamar told Reuters news agency he awoke to see Israeli troops scaling down his wall.

„They blindfolded and handcuffed me and started beating me up with the butts of their rifles and kicking me,” said Mr Muamar, who was treated in hospital for wounds.

Mr Muamar said the soldiers seized his computer and left after about an hour.

Israel arrests 2 militants in Gaza raid

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Israeli troops moved into southern Gaza under cover of darkness early Saturday, rounding up two Hamas militants in the first arrest raid in the coastal strip since Israel withdrew last year.

The Israeli Army said the militants were planning an imminent large attack against the Jewish state. No shots were fired, and the small Israeli force left immediately after the operation, the army said.

Israeli ground forces have entered Gaza three times since Israel completed its unilateral withdrawal from the area last September. Saturday marked the first time troops have arrested militants.

Capt. Tal Levram, a spokesman for Israel’s southern command, called Saturday’s raid a „surgical operation,” saying no tanks or gunfire were needed. He described the raid as an isolated incident and said it did not signal a new tactic in Israel’s war against the militants.

„They were involved in something that was supposed to happen very soon,” he said, declining to elaborate.

Hamas said Israeli troops entered the southern Gaza Strip, east of the town of Rafah, to storm a house, make the arrests, and then withdraw. They stayed for about an hour, the group said.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said the two militants were not members of the group. But local Hamas activists said the pair were sons of a prominent local Hamas leader and known to be members.
