   Sub titlul TURKEY: No progress on religious property in 2009 pe http://www.forum18.org s-a publicat un rezumat al disputelor legale dintre diversele comunitati religioase – altele decat comunitatea musulmana – si statul turc.

   Cazul fostei scoli ortodoxe din Ortakoy se adauga la alte procese aflate pe rol in Turcia sau la curtile europene. Cazul (aflat pe rol la Curtea Administrativa din Istanbul) este definit de urmatoarea fraza din articol:

   „Nor is there an answer to the question of what should be done regarding the so-called perished foundations (mülhak vakiflar). In many cases these foundations only „perished” because the state altered the regulation in such a way that the foundations could not fulfil these altered regulations. Then the state took over the assets of such foundations.”

   Turkish PM: “There is No Islamic Terrorism”…

   Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that there was no Islamic terrorism, APA reports quoting turkishny.com web-page.

   Erdogan attended opening of Ali Vural Ak Global Islam Studies Center established at the George Mason University in Washington, D.C. and deliver a speech on “the Alliance of Civilizations as Vision of Global Peace”.

   “Islam and terrorism cannot be mentioned together, because they are contradictory to each other,” he said.
